Dr. Maged Hamza, Richmond, VA Dr. Hamza received his MD from the Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt, followed by a residency in surgery, as well as anesthesia from the University of Arizona. He then completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Virginia Medical School. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Hamza is a Pain Management specialist, Director and Professor of the pain center at Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medical College of Virginia and pain support group member. In the past Dr. Hamza has been on the faculty at the University of Virginia, Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management, and was Director of Pain Management Services for Mid-Atlantic Spine Specialists.
Dr. Hamza is currently with the VCU Spine Center at Stony Point. His specialties include pain conditions of spine and non-spine origins such as Neuropathies, diabetic Neuropathy, vascular pain, visceral pain, pain pump and neurostimulation implants, and the development of a new analgesic. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Pain Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Daniel Secrest is a practicing chiropractic physician and owner of Secrest Family Chiropractic in South Scottsdale. Dr. JJ Grove, Scottsdale, AZ
Dr. Grove is a pain specialist at the Arizona Center for Pain Relief. Dr. Grove received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts and his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Stanford Medical Center and Clinics in Palo Alto, California and his fellowship in interventional pain management at Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women’s Hospital) in Boston, Massachusetts.
Following his training, Dr. Grove practiced in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He relocated to Phoenix in the summer of 2007 in order to join the medial staff of the Arizona Center for Pain Relief. Dr. Grove is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has obtained board certification in Anesthesiology as well as Pain Management.
Dr. Grove specializes exclusively in the treatment of patients with acute and chronic painful conditions, and performs a variety of spinal, peripheral and joint injections, including Radiofrequency ablation and implantable techniques.
